Henry Winkler, the Emmy-winning actor best known for his iconic role as Fonzie on “Happy Days,” offered insight into five decades of parenting after an emotional surprise from his children.

The 79-year-old actor served as guest cohost of “Today with Jenna and Friends” on June 12. During the broadcast, cohost Jenna Bush Hager introduced a prerecorded video featuring heartfelt messages from Winkler’s three children: daughter Zoe, 45; son Max, 41; and stepson Jed, 52.
