George Clooney and his family have been granted French citizenship, according to an official naturalization decree recently published by the French government, marking a significant personal milestone for the Oscar-winning actor and his wife, human rights attorney Amal Clooney.

The decree confirms that Clooney, 64, Amal, 47, and their 8-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, are now French citizens. The move formalizes a transition the family has gradually made in recent years as they established France as their primary home.
