Emma Stone Breaks Meryl Streep Record With Historic 2026 Oscar Nominations

The actress received two nominations for ‘Bugonia,’ pushing her career total to seven and becoming the youngest woman in history to reach that milestone.

Actress Emma Stone reached a landmark career milestone this awards season, as she broke multiple Oscar records, one previously held by Meryl Streep.

With the Jan. 22 release of the full list of nominees for the 98th Academy Awards, Stone, 37, received two nominations for best actress for her starring role in the dark comedy “Bugonia,” and best picture for her role as producer on the film.
