Country music artist Conner Smith made his return to the stage on July 31, nearly two months after he was involved in a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of a 77-year-old woman in Nashville.
The 24-year-old singer-songwriter, known for songs such as “Take It Slow” and “Creek Will Rise,” performed at the Grand Ole Opry in what he called a deeply personal and faith-centered evening. Smith addressed the audience directly, sharing how the experience has shaped his perspective.
