HONG KONG—The first BOC Life Hong Kong Premier League game of the weekend was between Eastern and Hong Kong Pegasus on Friday (Nov 25) at Mongkok Stadium. Eastern dominated the game, and took the lead in the 39th minute when Lee Hong-lim fired home past goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski after being fed by Michel Lugo and advancing into the box. Eastern doubled their lead in the 55th minute when Manuel Rodriguez converted a cross from Lee Hong-lim, but conceded an injury time own goal to record a 2-1 victory.

On Saturday Nov 26 Kwoon Chung Southern took on R&F at Aberdeen Sports Ground. Kwoon Chung Southern secured a lead in the 43rd minute when Roberto Fronza scored following a Michel Luk corner, added a second with a 64th minute Yang Ting own goal, and then added a 76th minute third for a 3-nil lead when Sham Kwok-fai converted a ball from Welligsson de Souza. However, R&F gave the scoreboard some respectability with a brace from Tommy Cheuk, who scored in the 80th minute and in stoppage time.

The day’s later game between South China and HKFC at Mongkok Stadium was postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

KMB Yuen Long then took on Wo Foo Tai Po at Tai Po Sports Ground on Sunday Nov 27, and ran out 3-nil victors courtesy of goals from Stefan Pereira, Yip Tsz-chun and Diego Higino.

In Sunday’s later game, Kitchee faced BC Glory Sky at Mongkok Stadium, and the game ended in a nil-all draw despite chances at either end.

Eastern lead the table with 22 points from 8 matches, with Kitchee second with 20 points from the same matches.

In First Division games, Sun Hei drew 2-all with Easyknit Property, Resource Capital FC were 4-1 victors over Wanchai, Eastern District were 1-nil winners against Kwun Tong, Double Flower won 2-nil against Yau Tsm Mong, Wong Tai Sin were 2-1 victors over Shatin, Citizen drew 2-all with Metro Gallery. and Tung Sing were 4-2 winners against Kwai Tsing.

Sun Hei lead the table with 29 points from 11, with Wong Tai Sin second with 28 points from 10 matches, and Easyknit Property third on 24 points from 11 games.

In the second division, Kwok Keung Linkers ONC drew 1-all with Kwong Wah, Hoi King’s game with HKU CXSC Sun Source was abandoned, Sparta Rotterdam Mutual were beaten 2-1 by Tuen Mun, Sham Shui Po were 3-2 victors over Kowloon, Central & Western were 2-nil winners against Sai Kung, and Lucky Mile won 2-1 against Tuen Mun FC.

Central & Western lead the table with 26 points from 11 games, with Hoi King and Tuen Mun joint second with 23 points from 10 and 11 games respectively.

Yau Yee League

In the first division matches, Albion were 4-nil victors over KCC Knights, Wanderers were 5-nil winners against Swiss XI, Squadron drew 3-all against Colloids FC, Colts were 4-nil victors over Baker Tilly Spartans, and GAS were 3-1 winners against French Kiss.

Wanderers lead the table with 25 points, with Colts and Albion are joint second with 19 points, and GAS fourth with 18 points all from 9 games.

In the second division, Hearts were 3-2 victors over White Youth FC, Azzurri drew 1-all with WYFC06, Dynamo drew nil-all against IES, HKU70’s were 4-1 victors over CSOB, ANP drew 1-all with GGFC, and Carnegies Boca Seniors won 3-nil against Grasshoppers.

Azzurri are league leaders with 26 points from 10 matches, with Carnegies Boca Seniors second with 22 points, and HKU70’s third with19 points, and Dynamo fourth, all from the same games.

In the third division, Yan Po were 1-nil victors over Scorpions, University were 3-1 winners against Friends of Barclays, Power 22 won 2-1 against HOB, Antonhill were 3-nil victors over Outward Bound, HKSS were 3-1 winners against Darts, and Maccabi HK won 7-nil against Goal Visio.

Antonhill lead the table with 26 points from 10 matches, with Maccabi HK second with 25 points from the same games, and Yan Po third with 22 points from the same games.

In the fourth division, Corinthians were 4-1 victors over Bank of China, Skyline were 1-nilwinners against Gurkha International, Bapcoll won 3-1 against WYFC84, Standard Chartered were 1-nil victors over Hung Art, and Green Cypress FC were  4-1 winners against Rising Sun.

BOC and Corinthians lead the table with 20 points from 9 and 10 matches respectively, with Green Cypress FC third with 19 points from 9 games.
