Deerpark, N.Y.—The tiny town of Mount Hope, New York, made national news in July when organizers of a seminar about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) received a death threat from an alleged CCP representative. The seminar organizer, the Mount Hope Chinese Association, was undeterred by the death threat. In fact, it took its message on the road. On Oct. 27, it joined the Tri-State Family Christian Center in Deerpark to host another “Wake Up to the CCP Threat” seminar. A panel of experts from the media and film industry spoke to an audience of over 200 attendees about the CCP infiltration of American schools, corporations, and communities.
The seminar was introduced by Mount Hope councilman Chris Furman and Tri-Cities Family Christian Center Pastor David Hensen. TV host and seminar moderator Jenny Chang then introduced panelists Simone Gao, Chris Chappell, and Kay Rubacek.
