Former WBA Heavyweight champion David Haye said he wants a role in one of the “Expendables” movies and also wants to fight Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock” at some point.
Speaking at the London launch of the forthcoming Rocky Blu-ray boxset, Haye said that his current shoulder injury might keep him out of the boxing game for good.
However, referring to Rocky famously fighting in an exhibition match against Thunderlips in Rocky III, Haye said with a chuckle that if offered a similar bout, he’d like to take on Dwayne Johnson, according to IGN.
Haye also said that he recently chatted with Sylvester Stallone, asking that next time casting comes around for an Expendables movie, that Stallone think abotu Haye.
“Alright, I will do,” Haye said Stallone responded.
“I could do it, no doubt. As long as I don’t have to throw a big right hand.”
