A report that’s claiming Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson will be “fired” from the popular A&E show due to a performance on Dancing with the Stars is baseless.

The viral report was published on American News, which frequently posts hoaxes and nonsensical speculation.

“There is no question in the mind of viewers that Sadie Robertson is one of the best dancers on Dancing With The Stars. Recently, however, she upset several Duck Dynasty fans when he clothing choices and dance moves were deemed a little too sexy for their taste,” it says.

The article then goes on to say A&E “may fire” her, but it doesn’t offer any kind of proof or sources.

American News has posted completely fake news stories the past, including republishing a satirical report from earlier in 2014 that says the Kenyan government has released documents that shows President Obama was born there

Users on the site said there was nothing wrong with her performance.

“As a conservative, I [think] it was elegant and was in good taste. She deserved a great score,” said one commenter.

Added another: “This was beautiful. ...nothing wrong here.”

Said another, “I see nothing wrong with her dress or the dance . She had on a lot more than most of them.”

“It seems like some people want to make something of nothing get over it, she’s a great dancer and nothing wrong with the way she dresses,” another added.

During Week 7 of the show, Robertson and partner Mark Ballas received mixed reviews overall.

“I found the movement style to be very up, and most of the paso has to do with the character you’re portraying,” said Carrie Ann Inaba of their zombie performance. “I wanted to see much more power and strength.”

Julianne Hough agreed with the theme of the dance. “Yes, the theme did get away with you a little bit, but I did feel there was content there,” she said.
