After Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones suggested that players who don’t stand for the national anthem won’t play, some players reportedly want to speak to him.

According to ESPN reporter Josina Anderson, one unnamed Cowboys player told her, “I’ve never heard this tone from Jerry, ever. Goes against everything he told us in [Arizona].” The player said that Jones told them that they could “trust in him on this [situation]” and now that player doesn’t “know what [to] believe,” she reported.
