Dr. Wilson Chin, a 34-year-old Hong Kong-born physician, died on Dec. 24, 2022, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Chin’s sudden death stirred comments on both mainstream and social media.

Chin’s boss, Deon Raju, president of Pacific Pines MedCentres, confirmed Chin’s death to the Gold Coast Bulletin, a local newspaper in Australia.

However, Raju did not elaborate on how Chin died, he just stated, “the cause of death was due to a medical issue unrelated to mental health.”

Chin was a fit and sporty young man, before his death, and had been on vacation from Nov. 5 to Nov. 18, 2022.

The medical centre has not publicly announced the doctor’s death on its Facebook page.

Dr. Wilson Chin graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in the UK. Chin later moved to the Gold Coast, Australia, in 2018 and became a family practitioner at Pacific Pines MedCentres.

Once the Australian government launched its vaccination plans for 5-11 year-old children, Chin began offering COVID-19 injections to children in his clinic.

An introductory video of Dr. Chin revealed that he was born in Hong Kong.

In the video, Chin said he went to the United Kingdom to study medicine when he was 16. After 14 years living in the United Kingdom, Chin moved to Australia.

Chin also said his father was a neurologist and that he studied medicine in Adelaide, Australia.

As a general practitioner, Chin was clinically trained in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, and orthopedics. Chin also practiced cosmetic injection and palliative care.

MedCentres also specifies on its Facebook page that Chin could prescribe medicinal cannabis.

Social Media Report His Death

While the public speculates about Chin’s cause of death, on social media, many people blame the COVID-19 vaccinations.
A Twitter account with over 210,000 followers called @DiedSuddenly_ reported Chin’s sudden death. The post has more than 550,000 views and 141 comments.
Most people think it has something to do with vaccines. A netizen wrote: “Sad to see so many vaxinated [sic] people dying or becoming ill at a young age. There is a price to be paid for taking experimental shots that alter the immune system.”

Mainstream Media Report His Death

While the cause of Chin’s death remains unreported, the mainstream media seems to blame anti-vaxxers.
Mirror UK reported the incident on Dec 28, in an article titled “Family doctor bombarded by death threats from anti-vaxxers during pandemic dies suddenly.”
Dailymail UK reported the incident on the same day, titled “Family doctor who was subject to death threats from anti-vaxxers during the pandemic dies suddenly right before Christmas.”
Both articles mentioned an incident that happened to Dr. Chin a year ago.

Children’s Vaccination Incident

In January 2022, two girls under ten years old collapsed in the clinic waiting room after receiving COVID-19 injections from Chin. An unnamed source claimed to have been in the waiting room, saw the incident, and was alleged to have said that both girls died. However, the state of the girls’ health has not been verified until now.

The report caused a shockwave in the community. The British-trained doctor and his staff began receiving death threats because of it.

The Guardian Australia reported on the incident on Feb. 1, 2022, stating that the false report of the two children’s death in Dr. Chin’s clinic after vaccination led to “utter fear” and panic as online radical anti-vaxxers, who oppose COVID-19 vaccination plans, targeted the doctor and the clinic.

During an interview with the local media 9NEWS, Chin was distraught and tried to hold back his tears, “This is not an adverse reaction to the vaccine, it was simply a fainting episode, just like a football man would have….”

Chin affirmed with the TV news that the two young girls were still alive and well. Chin said he had been in close contact with the girls’ parents and everyone should respect their privacy.

The clinic stopped vaccinating children after the girls’ fainting incident.

Chin later posted on Facebook, his regret that he could no longer offer children vaccinations to protect them from COVID-19 infection, he wrote “I hope life goes back to normal now that the air has been cleared. But I know a part of me will always wish I had done more to protect any child from getting COVID-19 but was stopped by dishonest people out there.”
