A former CIA officer has been charged with selling top-secret information to China over the span of a decade, the justice department said.

Alexander Yuk Ching Ma, a 67-year-old Hawaii resident, was arrested on Aug. 14 and charged with conspiracy to transfer classified information, including “Top Secret” level information, to China, an offense that could lead to life in prison, prosecutors said.
