Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL), the world’s largest manufacturer of battery cells for electric vehicles, is recruiting engineers and researchers from rival companies in South Korea.

On July 14, South Korean English-language newspaper The Korea Times reported that Chinese battery maker CATL was focusing on South Korean firms LG Chem, Samsung SKI, and SK Innovation, citing unidentified South Korean company officials.
