11-Year-Old Girl Returns Home after Myocarditis Scare Following Her Second COVID-19 Vaccine
An 11-year-old girl from Hong Kong was admitted to hospital with chest pains three weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine a month ago. Siu Yick-tung, an 11-year-old girl from Hong Kong, was admitted to hospital with chest pains three weeks after receiving the second dose of COVID-19 vaccination. She was later diagnosed with myocarditis. Siu’s condition deteriorated sharply at the time, and she had to be admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).

Siu’s aunt posted updates on social media on the morning of July 9, 2022, that after being in the hospital for a month, the 11-year-old could finally be discharged and return home on July 8, 2022.
