At least two people were killed and 23 were injured in shootings across Chicago over the weekend. One person was killed and four were hurt on the South and North sides, according to local reports.
CBS Chicago reported that a man was killed and another was wounded overnight on Sunday in the Chatham neighborhood.
Police said the victims were standing on the sidewalk when two people walked up to them and opened fire.
The Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune reported that the dead victim was a 20 year old male. The other victim, a 36-year-old male, was shot in the foot.
Over the weekend, two other people were shot in separate incidents. There were also 22 other shooting injuries, according to CBS.
