Cat With Incredibly Fluffy ‘Squirrel Tail’ Is Owning the Internet With 165,000 Instagram Followers

A member of a newer and lesser-known breed, this feline has one of the most majestic tails going. It’s long, fluffy, and similar to that of a squirrel. It’s hardly surprising that she has her own Instagram channel and how popular it is.

Meet Bell, a 5-year-old cat and Instagram model from Japan. She is part of the minuet cat breed. Her beautiful tail, however, is longer and fluffier than that of others from other house cats. And this kitty has achieved internet celebrity thanks to it. Every day, Bell’s owner posts pictures chronicling the feline’s daily life to her impressive 165,000 followers.

Also known as Napoleons, the minuet breed has only existed since 1996. It is actually a cross between the munchkin cat and the Persian. According to petguide.com, this breed was created to combine the elegance of the Persian cat with the adorable small legs typical of a munchkin.

These little kitties are characterized by their overall friendliness, love of being around their humans, as well as high energy and playfulness. They were named after the famous French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte because of the breed’s tendency to be shorter in stature than others. As far as cat breeds go, this one seems to have a common denominator with the French general: cute and imperial!

And little Bell is indeed a joy to look at. The owner regularly posts on Instagram photos of this beautiful kitten dressed in adorable outfits, along with endearing videos where she shows her remarkably fluffy tail. This feline clearly knows how to model like a pro.
