S&P Global Affirms US Rating at ‘Aa+/A-1+’

S&P Global on Tuesday reaffirmed its sovereign rating for the United States at ‘AA+/A-1+’, the second highest rating by the agency even as the country battles inflationary pressures.

The country’s economic growth, likely its best performance in nearly four decades, was fueled by massive fiscal stimulus as well as very low interest rates.
