Technology giant Oracle announced a shakeup in its C-suite ranks on Sept. 22, with two longtime company insiders replacing Safra Catz, who had led the company as its CEO since 2014.

Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia will serve as co-CEOs, Oracle board chair and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison said in a statement. Both men were tabbed to lead the company based on their extensive experience scaling artificial intelligence cloud infrastructure, the company noted.
