Gas Prices Fall Below $5 per Gallon After Reaching Historic High on June 14

The average price for a gallon of gas in the United States remains below $5, falling for the fourth consecutive day after hitting a high of $5.014 during the week of June 13, 2022.

The price of gas dropped to $4.981 per gallon on June 20, according to AAA, after gas averages fell to $4.99 per gallon on June 17.
