Stellantis, parent company of Chrysler, announced on Dec. 1 it was recalling 72,509 Ram trucks due to a potential software failure in their instrument panel display that shows a blank screen rather than critical information such as warning lights or indicating when the vehicles are shifted into gear.

The recall notice posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website said Chrysler was recalling certain Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 pickups, model years 2025 and 2026.
