The parents of teenagers Braxton Wood and Jayden Thomas are worried about the pair and want them to come home or at least make contact.

Braxton, 14, took his mother’s Ford Explorer with the license plate BCQ4820 and took off with Jayden Thomas, 13, on August 26 in Isabella County, Michigan. Since then nothing has been heard of them.

“It’s like they fell off the face of the earth,” Jayden’s mother Kelly Drinkwine told the Detroit Free Press. “No one can find them.”

The young pair are boyfriend and girlfriend. The situation is becoming increasingly difficult for their parents.

“It’s like a nightmare,” said Ed Wood, Brandon’s father. “You don’t know what to do, where to go or who to call.”

Braxton and Jayden had about $80 betwween them and took a video game console and a coin collection, along with other items, that they were likely planning on selling for cash.

They may be headed to a friend’s house in Florida, according to the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.

A private investigator who has been hired to find them says that they have likely not made contact with anyone as of yet.
