After three mass shootings in California in recent days have left at least 18 people dead, President Joe Biden on Jan. 24 urged Congress to pass gun control legislation.

In Half Moon Bay, a coastal community south of San Francisco, seven people were killed in two related shootings on Jan. 23, according to police reports.
