The Jay Z and Beyonce divorce rumors may be true as the pair have reportedly been avoiding each other on their “On the Run” tour.
The superstars perform together on stage but have been staying in separate hotels for most of the tour.
“They stayed separately in both New York and L.A. for several nights,” a source told Us Weekly.
And a real-estate insider added that Beyonce has been touring apartments in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood with “no Jay Z in sight.”
On the other hand, another source insists that the couple “are happy” although “they have issues, like every other couple.”
And the Daily Mail reported that Beyonce and Jay Z spent Tuesday night in a $30,000 suite at the St. Regis hotel in San Francisco.
The following day they appeared to be a happy couple as they took their two-year-old daughter Blue out to lunch.
They also appeared content on Tuesday night.
“There were no signs of marital discord as Jay Z and Beyoncé shared a cozy dinner with friends before retiring to their hotel suite together in the early hours of Wednesday morning,” the Mail reported.
“They joined pals including Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am at the city’s Tosca Cafe - before returning together to the Presidential Suite at the St Regis hotel at 2am.”
A source confirmed that the pair stayed at the Presidential Suite partially because it has its own private entrance via elevator in an underground car park.
“They chose this room because they have their own way in and out without anybody seeing them,” the source said.
But a witness inside the cafe said that while Beyonce smiled and looked at total ease, Jay Z “did look uncomfortable.” and the couple “left really abruptly while their friends were still happily chatting away and enjoying themselves.
Even though the Presidential Suite costs $30,000 a night, it only has one bedroom.
While finishing the tour, the pair are also being followed by HBO cameras for an upcoming show.
