Actress Bella Thorne is facing criticism after posting a photo of herself wearing a fur coat on Instagram.

Thorne posted the image on Tuesday, showing herself wearing an all-black outfit and a “faux fur” jacket, according to the Mirror.

“When you’re a tomboy and trade in sweats and kicks for boots and fur,” she wrote. “Dear internet Trolls, it’s faux fur…,” she said.

The Mirror said that the coat is a Tierra striped jacket, designed by Alice + Olivia. It retails for $1,700 and is “genuine rabbit and arctic fox fur from China.”

TMZ reported that the coat was given to her during a photoshoot and she was “told it was faux fur.”

A representative for her then said she is now aware it isn’t faux fur, and she won’t wear it now.

Some people weren’t happy with the photo. A few people said she should take the photo down.

“Delete this picture now Bella and apologize. It’s real fur. “The item’s description—on the Bloomingdale’s and Harrods websites—specifically says it’s made of GENUINE rabbit and fox fur from China, where fur farms are abundant,” said one person on Instragram.
