Two construction workers, Ram Mandal and Utham Mandal, have been arrested over the death of missing TCS employee B. Uma Maheswari.
The two workers, who are from west Bengal, admitted to raping and murdering Maheswari, reported the Times of India.
Two other construction workers are also believed to be involved.
All four stopped going to work after February 13, the night Maheswari vanished.
They dragged her into a secluded area from the road near the Spicot IT Park in Siruseri, where she worked for the Tata Consultancy Services, and sexually assaulted her.
They then stabbed her and left her body in the bushes.
They also took her phone and credit card, police told The Hindu.
Uttam tried to withdraw money from an ATM with the card that same night. He was caught on CCTV footage.
Police are searching for the other two workers. The body was recovered several days ago.
