It’s much easier to pick a jar and just warm it up as opposed to making it yourself, but there’s a neat trick that will have you leaning toward the homemade version from now on.

Justin Chapple from the Food & Wine Test Kitchen demonstrates a method that requires no fuss–all you need it to take a ripe tomato to a cheese grater.

With just a few other ingredients, this sauce will be ready within minutes.
