The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fired on ISIS terrorists on Feb. 8 ahead of a planned assault on the terrorists’ last enclave on Feb. 9 in the part of Syria where a U.S.-backed coalition has been supporting operations against the group.
The head of the SDF media office, Mustafa Bali, told Reuters that the main battle will be launched on the evening of Feb. 9 and its mission will be to eliminate the last remnants of “the terrorist organization.”
