Dramatic CCTV footage uploaded this week shows a Doberman battle a mountain lion in a one-sided affair.
Taken on a patio in California, the cougar easily handles the dog, which was chained to the house.
As the big cat digs in its claws and teeth, it becomes evident that the Doberman is on its last legs.
But just then, the cat gets apparently spooked by something and runs off. Somehow, the dog survives the attack and appears to walk off under its own power, albeit severely injured.
