President Donald Trump lauded German automaker Volkswagen on Jan. 15 for choosing Chattanooga, Tennessee, as the company’s North American base for manufacturing electric vehicles.
Volkswagen’s U.S. expansion includes an investment of $800 million in the facility, which is poised to create 1,000 jobs at the plant and additional jobs at suppliers.
