British authorities charged six men for terrorism-related offenses on Sunday night, according to media reports.
Three of the men, Irfan Nasser, Irfan Khalid, and Ashik Ali, were charged with plotting suicide bomb attacks in the U.K., reported Sky News.
The six were arrested during raids in Birmingham last week. Some were accused of engaging in collecting funds for terrorist attacks, recruiting others to take part in terrorist acts, poison making, and “being concerned in constructing” a homemade explosive device, reported the Birmingham Mail.
Nasser and Khalid are also accused of receiving terror training in Pakistan, according to Sky, and of making a “martyrdom” film.
Police charged two of the accused men, Bahader Ali and Mohammed Rizwan, of failing to tell authorities about potential acts of terrorism.
The men allegedly committed the offenses between December of last year and Sept. 19, 2011.
Another man from Birmingham was arrested on Thursday but was not officially charged and continues to be questioned by police.
