A pair of siblings have taken the internet by storm with a goosebump-inducing rendition of two classic pop hits from the archives.

When Kenny and Capri Holland, a brother-sister singing duo from the United States, put together a masterful mashup of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow” and Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” about three years ago, the result was a viral hit. Since being posted on YouTube, the Holland siblings’ music mashup has been viewed over 9.3 million times and still counting.
Kenny posted a video of the singing collaboration on YouTube on Sept. 21, 2016, captioned, “Two of my favorite songs with one of my favorite little people, my baby sister Capri!”

Kenny, an accomplished pianist, was 22 when the siblings’ video went viral; his younger sister Capri was just 12. Together, the pair share an appreciation for these classic hits that transcend their generation.

Capri starts singing with a sweet tone and amazing control before Kenny joins her, harmonizing perfectly. However, the siblings save the most spine-tingling surprise for last; as the beat finally drops, Kenny and Capri split off, taking one song each and layering their vocals expertly, creating a rich medley that melts the two classic songs together like never before.

Thousands of viewers, many moved by the young siblings’ amazing vocal control and sweet dynamic, left encouraging comments for the pair over the years.

“She has incredible control over her vocals for her age, wow,” wrote one viewer.

“Beautiful [...] both have voices of angels,” wrote another. “Unearthly beautiful.”

“Perfect brother and sister! So cute! And I love how the little girl lays her head on her big brother,” commented another.
The ballad “Over the Rainbow” was composed by musician Harold Arlen and lyricist Yip Harburg for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. The sweet ditty was sung by the actress Judy Garland as the protagonist of the movie, Dorothy Gale, and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song that same year.
“Can’t Help Falling in Love” was a hit for the heartthrob Elvis Presley in 1961 and featured on his album Blue Hawaii, also appearing on the film soundtrack of the same name. Since the early sixties, the song has been a favorite among recording artists, many of whom have produced their own covers; popular versions were recorded by Bob Dylan, Tom Smothers, and the British reggae group UB40.

Both songs continue to tug at the heartstrings of music lovers worldwide to this day.

Kenny and Capri Holland are not the only members of their family to share a talent for music. In fact, all five of Kenny’s sisters can sing. The young musician’s YouTube channel is a homage to his talented family; videos of Kenny and his sisters singing songs together have amassed millions upon millions of views.

For many viewers, it’s Kenny and Capri’s moving mashup of two heartfelt classic love songs that remains the jewel in the family’s musical crown.
