This year, even Santa Clause has decided to go digital.
AT&T Wireless customers can connect with St. Nick now through Christmas Eve by texting SANTA to 1224 (free of charge) from their mobile devices. In turn, Santa will reply with a text greeting and an invitation to write back a Christmas wish list.
“If you think Santa and the elves are fast at making toys, you should see them texting! It was clearly the season to go digital,” said Susan Bean, North Pole representative for Santa Claus, through a release from AT&T.
Santa’s replies will be vague—with jokes and one-liners about the North Pole and gift-giving—but the replies will be personal enough that your child may think that it is really from the old man himself.
