Training for a trek to the South Pole, Prince Harry spent Monday night in a freezer.
The freezer was minus 31 degrees Fahrenheit and wind was produced inside at speeds of 45 miles per hour. He warmed up with a tea and biscuit when he emerged.
The 15-day trek is a charity event in honor of wounded veterans. His four teammates all have amputated limbs after serving in Afghanistan.
Prince Harry, 29, embarked on Walking With the Wounded—a 200-mile Antarctic journey—two years ago, but had to pull out after five days to attend his brother’s wedding.
The training simulation was set up in Nuneaton, central England.
