At the closing of their first face-to-face meeting on April 7, President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping enthused about their newfound rapport.
“The relationship developed by President Xi and myself I think is outstanding,” Trump said at a meeting in his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
