Some fresh rumors of the Nexus 9 have surfaced.

According to Twitter leaker @upleaks, the “HTC T1#WL(CDMA/LTE model) [will be] coming to US and Japan,” and it will be sold on Amazon US.

“HTC T1” is one of the Nexus 9’s many code names. It is also known as “HTC Volantis” and “HTC Flounder.”

The tablet is almost certainly going to be a HTC product though.

The Wall Street Journal confirm that Google is working on a “9-inch tablet,” and strongly suggest a HTC connection.

A person “familiar with the matter” told the Journal that “Google had been mulling HTC as a Nexus tablet partner since last year” because as part of Google’s habit of switching up its partners “from device to device to avoid any one manufacturer gaining a monopoly.”

Also, a series of NVIDIA court documents for their recent legal dispute with Qualcomm over GPU tech reveals that NVIDIA is supplying their Tegra K1 Denver 64-bit processor to HTC for the Nexus 9.
