NCIS: Los Angeles Season 5 returns to CBS on Monday, April 1, 9:00 p.m. ET, with Episode 19, “Spoils of War.”
In this episode, after learning that Special Agent Kensi Blye disappeared and the Taliban may be he holding her captive, Hetty is going to send the NCIS: LA team to Afghanistan on a rescue mission.
NCIS: LA’s executive producer Shane Brennan tells TV Line that “something major happens” to Kensi in Afghanistan.
“Something [will happen] that shocks everyone and puts Kensi in an enormous amount of jeopardy,” said Brennan.
“And then we have to deal with the consequences of that, at the same time she and Deeks are dealing with the reality of that night they spent together – and I’m not saying anything happened, though it certainly looks that way.”
