Details of the new MyTEAM mode in NBA 2K15 is out.
Kelly Wilson from Visual Concepts gave an in depth interview with Operation Sports recently about the latest MyTEAM mode.
First, there will be an Auction House where players have “control over what [they] want.” Players can make detailed cards and items transactions and bids, and will be able to track actions, state of bids, and redeem winning items.
There is also a new feature called “Challenges.”
Wilson said: “Challenges are mainly single player games that create different “what if…” scenarios.
“What if you had to take on the NBA’s fastest players or some of the league’s unsung heroes? Weekly single and multiplayer challenges will be added throughout the year revolving around NBA events.
“We also will be taking ideas from the community so your challenge could make it in the game.”
MyTEAM is features legendary players, and in NBA 2K15, Bernard King, Bob Cousy, Nate Archibald, Rick Barry, Tom Chambers, and Kevin Johnson will feature, along with “many more surprises.”
As for how Visual Concepts intends to keep MyTEAM fresh throughout the year, Wilson said that there will be a “huge emphasis on community and content releases.”
There will be “weekly updates from new packs, limited edition packs, new cards, new collections, weekly challenges, community challenges, throwback cards, biggest mover cards, and even some surprises.”
