Motorola’s recently unveiled products are yet to ship, but one of them will likely come in a special edition of sorts.
The unlocked, unbranded version of the new Moto X will apparently be called the Moto X Pure Edition, according to The Verge.
As the name implies, the Pure Edition will come with a Motorola version of Android without the bloatware of carrier-branded units.
Currently, only AT&T and Verizon have announced that they are carrying the phone. Neither carrier have said when they are selling the phone, however.
Droid Life claims that Verizon will retail the Moto X on September 25, so there is a couple more days to go before the rumor is proven to be fact or mere speculation.
As for the new Moto G, the new mid-range Motorola phone, it is currently available via the official Motorola online store, but no carrier is picking it up yet.
Finally, Verizon and AT&T will be carrying the Moto 360, Motorola’s first entry into the smartwatch market.
Verizon will launch the watch on October 27, and is offering the smartwatch with the leather band on pre-order. AT&T has not mentioned anything about pre-orders.
The Moto 360 is currently sold out on the Motorola online store and at Best Buy.
