A mother is dealing with some not-too-happy neighbors who left a letter on her doorstep in Philadelphia.
“To the parent of the small child at this house,” it reads.
“Like normal people I open my windows for fresh air. NOT to hear some BRAT screaming his head off as he flaps his hands like a bird,” the unnamed person wrote. “Give him old fashioned discipline a few times and he will behave,” the letter adds.
The mother of the child, Bonnie Moran, said the letter was in reference to her child, Ryan, who has autism.
The neighbor also asked if the child is “retarded” and claimed his behavior is “scaring my normal children.”
“I was mad, angry, beyond angry,” Moran told WPVI-TV. “He doesn’t comprehend like you or me, he gets overwhelmed very easily,” she said, adding that Ryan also has ADHD.
