Missing NYC Brother and Sister Were On the Phone With Family at Time of Brussels Explosion

Before the line went dead, the last thing the mother of two missing New York City siblings heard was an explosion.

Dutch media has reported that Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski were phoning home to say they had landed safely, when their call was cut short by the sounds of March 22’s terrorist attack in the Zaventem Brussels Airport.

Brandon Paul, a lifelong friend and classmate of Sascha reached out to Epoch Times: “I was devastated when I heard the news about Sascha and Alex missing after the airport attack in Brussels,” he said, “All I could think of was remembering her face always having a smile on it in the halls of our elementary and middle school in Germany (Frankfurt International School).
