Two new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor videos have been released.
The first is a live-action trailer by Corridor Digital in conjunction with game publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
The video shows an orc raiding party going about their nasty business with some human victims before Shadow of Mordor’s hero, the undead ranger Talion, shows up.
Talion proceeds to use his wraith abilities to get Krimp the Orc to do his bidding, and swing stuff in his favor.
The second trailer was shown at the 2014 Tokyo Games Show.
A prelude to the main story, the trailer shows Talion getting flashbacks to the time his family got murdered, and his own untimely death.
It is later revealed that Talion came back to live because he was resurrected by and combined with Celebrimbor (one of the makers of the Three Rings) via a curse placed on them by Sauron. Together, they would seek their revenge against the most evil presence on Middle-earth.
The game, which is developed by Monolith, was originally supposed to be released on September 30 in North America and October 3 in Europe for all consoles.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will still be released on the above dates for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but the dates for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have been pushed back to November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe.
