Michele Savoia was discovered dead on Sunday, after the fashion designer went missing on Thursday.

He was last seen around four in the morning at the Marquee club on the West Side.

A doorman told police that he saw Savoia arrive but not leave, and the designer’s driver reported the designer missing on Saturday morning.

The well-known menswear designer, who has worked for celebrities such as Robert DeNiro and Matt Dillon, tailored Broadway costumes, and taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology was supposed to meet his ex-girlfriend on Valentine’s Day but didn’t show up, reported ABC.

Savoia also owned a store called House of Savoia on the Lower East Side.

His body was found under a moored boat near Savoia’s yacht off of 16th Street and the Chelsea Piers on Sunday afternoon, reported the NY Daily News.

Savoia’s driver Alerto Alonso said police officers alerted him around 1:30 p.m.

“I don’t want to say I’m not surprised, but he lived on the edge,” said Christina Logothetis, a student of Savoia’s when he taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2009.
