Konami will be previewing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at Gamescom on August 13.

The hour-long preview event will be held at Cologne’s Musical Dome, which has a capacity of 1,600, at 2:00 p.m. EDT (8:00 p.m. CET).

For those who cannot make it there in person, there is a live stream available on Twitch.tv.

The event will be hosted by SPIKE TV host and games journalist Geoff Keighley.

Series creator Hideo Kojima will also be there to “exclusively present new gameplay,” and demonstrate the “impressive capabilities of Kojima Productions’ breathtaking FOX Engine and more.”

Via the gameplay demonstration, Konami seeks to give viewers a picture of the “sheer scale and ambition” of the game.

Kojima will also take questions during the Q&A session, where he has a “few surprises” in store for fans.

Ticket availability will be ticket availability “will be announced shortly.”

Fans will be able to get their hands on the latest Metal Gear Solid merchandise at the event. A new Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros Snake figurine
will also be available.

Konami has yet to announce the release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The game will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.
