A KOMO News Helicopter crashed on Broad Street near the Space Needle, Seattle on Tuesday (March 18) morning.

People in the area reported seeing a huge cloud of smoke as firefighters and police.

Seattle Police Department confirm 2 people were dead-on-arrival, and

A 37-year-old man who managed to free himself from a car at the accident scene was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

According to ABC, the helicopter crashed moments after it took off.
