A report is saying Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars are possibly dating already.
Radar Online, citing sources close to the production, said the two have chemistry together. “They looked like they were about to hook up,” the person said. “They looked like they were getting hot and steamy on the dance floor.”
“They spend so much time together and they are so touchy feely and all over each other,” the source added. “It happens sometimes on the show.”
But the source notes that Dancing with the Stars relationships don’t tend to last. “It’s a short-lived romance,” the source continued. “You spend so much time with that person and then it’s over.”
The insider then said, “It usually doesn’t last past the finale, but it is normal. It’s like a short-lived romance. It’s like going on spring break or a teen tour. You go away for six weeks and find a boyfriend and go back to high school and it’s over.”
There were a number of rumors about Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the older brother of Val who used to perform on the show, dating one another. The two won last season.
“The only way that Val works well with someone, he has to have chemistry with his partner,” the source also said. “And the last time Val was flirtatious was with Kelly ... Kelly and him went to the finals. And on screen now, it looks like he has chemistry with Janel.”
Meanwhile, according to Glamour magazine, Chmerkovskiy had a “terrifying moment” with Julianne Hough.
“Obviously I’m very down on myself,” he said on the show of the last performance. “I’m very frustrated. We did that trick a million times, and then one time we put a little too much energy into it, she fell. That was very traumatizing for me. There’s a moment in that [sequence] that you have to let go because there’s that trust, but after that little mishap in rehearsal, I just couldn’t let go. I was very nervous all the time. The trick didn’t go as planned, but at least I didn’t drop her. That’s my priority. That everybody’s safe. I didn’t want to be the reason that let our team down.”
