Janel Parrish and Artem Chigvintsev teamed up on Dancing With the Stars 2014 for week 5’s switch up.
Janel typically dances with Val Chmerkovskiy while Artem typically dances with Lea Thompson.
They danced Burlesque to “Mama Knows Best” by Jessie J, who was the guest judge of the evening.
“Obviously there’s no denying that that was extremely sexy, but to me that was not Burlesque ... that was really raunchy, and sexy,” said Julianne Hough, one of the judges.
“Never too sexy for me!” said Bruno Tonioli, another judge..
Carrie Ann Inaba said that they did well but that it wasn’t really Burlesque. “We lost the humor of it all,” she said.
Guest judge Jessie J said she really enjoyed it.
“We worked hard, and it was a blast,” Janel said after the dance, adding that she appreciates the feedback.
They got 8s from Carrie Ann, Jessie, and Julianne, and a 9 from Bruno for 33 out of 40.
