Another possible iPhone 6 Plus defect has been spotted.
In a Youtube video, Technibility showed an iPhone 6 Plus that has its LCD screen pop out on one side of the phone.
The phone, which is incidentally “slightly bending,” was allegedly kept in a case, was not dropped, and was “barely” kept in a pocket.
At present, Technibility appears to be the only one reporting this issue.
Apple came under fire recently when iPhone 6 Plus users discovered that their new phablet warped when left in their pocket.
Social media exploded with pictures of bent iPhone 6 Pluses, and there is even a Youtube video proving that the phablet can be bent with bare hands.
Apple has since given The Verge a tour of their testing facilities where about 15,000 iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units were subject to “torture tests,” possibly in a bid to show that their latest and greatest phones were subjected to quality checks before being let loose in the “wild.”
Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, says that the iPhone 6 Plus bending is “extremely rare to happen in real world use,” and that customers that see any problems should visit an Apple store.
"In this case, as in many things, we tell customers that if you think something’s occurred that shouldn’t have with your device, go to AppleCare, go to the Genius Bar, and let them take a look at it.
“And we'll see if your product is having an experience it shouldn’t have, and is covered under warranty.”
