PADANG, Indonesia—An earthquake of 7.6 magnitude devastated much of the Indonesian province of West Sumatra last week, destroying entire villages and claiming many lives. 

Official have confirmed 603 people dead; 960 are still missing in landslides.

Local and international rescue teams have arrived in the province’s capital, Padang, to help the earthquake victims.
