At least two hospitals in Beijing have confirmed hospital-acquired infections of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) recently, while a private company has reported that a staff member who returned to work later diagnosed positive for the virus.
Social media users posted photos on Feb. 22 of large crowds in the capital city’s popular sightseeing locations, just the second week after central authorities mandated that businesses resume operations on Feb. 10, following an extended Lunar New Year break.
