After about a week of downtime, Heroes of the Storm is back online.

Earlier, Blizzard took down the game, which is still in the Technical Alpha testing phase, because they had to move their production hardware.

Heroes of the Storm is now available again for players in North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

Players in Europe can get back on the Nexus on October 9.

Blizzard has yet to announce when Korea, Taiwan, and China players can next access the game.

Players who hop on the patched game will gain double experience points when playing in Practice, Cooperative, and Versus modes for this week only.

The latest patch brings about a number of key changes to the game.

First, players will be moved back to their home Battle.net regions. Friends of Heroes players can now see that they are playing the game, and can communicate them via the Battle.net chat.

Another big change is the reintroduction of custom games. This means that players can now choose to play in private matches besides the various matchmaking modes.

Post-patch Technical Alpha will also feature a new replay system and observer mode. This will be very beneficial to those who wish to review their games and what their opponents/teammates/randoms are doing in order to improve their own play.

Finally, two new characters, Anub'arak and Azmodan, have been added to the list of heroes.

See here for the full list of changes in the October 7, 2014 patch.
