While people were shopping on Black Friday, Halestorm headlined Terminal 5 to a crowd with turkey still in their belly. It was the first time the band performed at the venue according to lead singer Lzzy Hale.

The band opened up with their Grammy winning song “Love Bites (So Do I)” and proceeded with “Mz. Hyde” in the order that appears on their album The Strange Case Of...

They also performed tracks from their self titled debut such as “It’s Not You,”  “I Get Off,” “Dirty Work,”  “Innocence,”  “Familiar Taste of Poison,” and “Nothing to Do With Love,” a track they rarely play live.

Lzzy asked the audience to light up their cell phones and lift them in the air as she belted out the piano-rock ballad “Break In.”

Halestorm performed three covers off their latest EP: ReAnimate 2.0. Among the tracks were Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” Judas Priest’s “Dissident Aggressor,” and Pat Benatar’s “Gold Dust Woman.”

The highlight of their set included drummer Arejay Hale’s nearly 10-minute drum solo. At one point, he brought out drumsticks the size of baseball bats.

Stars in Stereo and Redlight King opened up for Halestorm. Redlight King’s “Comeback” appears on The Avengers soundtrack.

Halestorm closed things up with “Here’s to Us” as the crowd once again lifted their cell phones up into the air. For a band that is constantly on the road and a singer that happened to be recovering from a cold that night, they didn’t miss a single beat.
